199 PointsI struggle with the next step here. How is Menu written with format? Also why is sundaes = avaliable.split(";")
Struggle
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
avaliable = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white".split(';')
['banana split', 'hot fudge' , 'cherrymalted' , 'black and white']
sundaes = available.split(";")

Treehouse Moderator 68,457 PointsThe next step is literally shown in the instructions: Make a new variable named menu that's set to "Our available flavors are: {}.".
So,
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".
The line:
sundaes = avaliable.split(";")
says, use the split()
method to divide up the string available
using a semi-colon as the cut point. This returns a list of divided items which is then assigned to the variable sundaes
.
