Use Console.WriteLine to print the contents of the firstName variable to the screen.
string firstName = Console.ReadLine ();
Console.WriteLine(" firstName");

By using double quotes around firstName
you are actually providing the Console.WriteLine()
method with the string literal "firstName", not the variable firstName
. In order to use the variable, make sure you don't have these double quotes.
string firstName = Console.ReadLine();
Console.WriteLine(firstName);
