I need some more explanation on "types"

I don't understand the relation between vocabulary(in the speaking language) and types(in the programming language)

Hello Kanish, There is a relation that, in my opinion, is helpful, relating things with images. In the case of, lets say, a "String", the relation might be a Happy Birthday Banner, like the ones people hang in walls. As you can see in my reference each letter of the word is linked by a string while at the same time every letter( or char) have its own place. This is just an example that come to my mind.
