I keep having to answer the same quiz over and over again each time i log in

and the arrows are greyed out at a certain point. this is really frustrating. argh.

This sounds like a Treehouse support issue. You can report a bug to the team by clicking on the support Icon on the bottom left of your page, with the Course, Stage and quiz you're having troubles with and they'll be able to fix it for you. :)
