Python Introducing Lists Using Lists Continental

I keep getting a SyntexError on this line: if continents[0] == "A"

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here and getting a bit stuck atm. Who can help me?

continents.py 
continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]
# Your code here
for continent in continents:
    if continents([0]) == "A"
    print("* " + continent)

You nearly there, you have just forgotten the colon (:) after your if statement and you don't need those extra brackets when getting the first item from the list. it should look similar to this:

if continents[0] == "A":
    print("* " + continent)
