Python Flask Basics Welcome to Flask Request args

I have watched this video over and over?

what is the question asking. I have had some answers from others but nothing is passing.

from flask import Flask
from flask import request

app = Flask(__name__)

def index():
    return "Hello from {}".format(name)

Yeap, the Flask course is pretty confusing. I wish Treehouse would give us some kind of response regarding this complaints. Anyway, here is what you should do in this task:

from flask import Flask

app = Flask(__name__)

def hello(name='Eric'):
     return 'Hello {}'.format(name)

Thank you for your help. I've tried the solution you offered, but I still get errors. Is there a way a to get specific feedback from the instructor. Really trying to get this module done before midnight. I've spent a couple hours trying different things for this one question. Any advice?

Yes, sorry, i got confused there for a second. This code should work:

from flask import Flask, request
app = Flask(__name__)

def index(name= "Treehouse"):
    name = request.args.get('name', name)
    return "Hello {}".format(name)
