I have no clue why this code wont satisfy the challenge, error, you need to provide an implementation for the move method:

class Point { var x: Int var y: Int

init(x: Int, y: Int) {
    self.x = x
    self.y = y
}

}

enum Direction { case left case right case up case down }

class Robot { var location: Point

init(location: Point) {
    self.location = Point(x: 0, y: 0)
}

func move(direction: Direction) { // Enter your code below switch direction { case .Up: return location.y += 1 case .Down: return location.y -= 1 case .Right: return location.x += 1 default: return location.x -= 1 } } }

let newRobot = Robot() newRobot.move(direction up)

test.swift
class Point {
    var x: Int
    var y: Int

    init(x: Int, y: Int) {
        self.x = x
        self.y = y
    }
}

enum Direction {
    case left
    case right
    case up
    case down
}

class Robot {
    var location: Point

    init(location: Point) {
        self.location = Point(x: 0, y: 0)
    }

   func move(direction: Direction) {
        // Enter your code below
        switch direction {
        case .Up:
            return location.y += 1
        case .Down:
            return location.y -= 1
        case .Right:
            return location.x += 1
        default:
            return location.x -= 1
        }
    }
}

let newRobot = Robot()
newRobot.move(direction up)

The challenge editor is very specific about the challenges. So while your code might work well in playground and xcode projects, it might not work here :)

It's all about the name of the cases in your move function. You need to make sure they match up with the values in your Direction enum exactly. Check the letter casing of the values you are switching on.

Other than that, you're spot on!
