JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM (Retiring) Traversing the DOM Child Traversal

I have made the children <p> of section blue, but I cannot pass. Is it because the footer is also <p>, but not a child?

The preview is showing that i have it correct based on the instructions (all children <p> are blue), but if I need to make the background of the footer <p> blue as well, I am struggling to find a solution that fits in with thee parameters here.

app.js
var section = document.querySelector('section');
var paragraphs = section.children;

for ( let i = 0; i < paragraphs.length; i += 1 ) {
    paragraphs[i].style.backgroundColor = 'blue';
};
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>Child Traversal</title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <section>
            <p>This is the first paragraph</p>
            <p>This is a slightly longer, second paragraph</p>
            <p>Shorter, last paragraph</p>
        </section>
      <footer>
        <p>&copy; 2019</p>
      </footer>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>

Hi Lindsay DAndrea,

In this challenge you're asked to change text color not background color.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,
