I don't understand what parent element means or what the question is really asking me to do.

It keeps telling me that I haven't set the maximum width to the images.

Hi Tristan,

If your targeting all img elements you need a:

img {}

declaration.

And if you need to set their maximum width then you just need the property max-width: 100%
