9,235 PointsI would suggest you have the <li> tag as the outer tag I.e.
<li> <a href= "cakes.html">Cakes</a></li>
<li><a href= "pies.html">Pies</a></li>
<li> <a href= "candy.html">Candy</a></li>
try this and run to see if the error disappears
