2,078 PointsI don't understand this.
I tried to first create var turtleSpeed = Speed(rawValue: 10) but it said that the variable was expected to be an Int. So I tried to do an if let statement to unwind the optional, but I realized that wasn't going to make it an Int. I don't understand why it expects an Int and how do I get it to be an Int?
enum Speed: Int {
case Slow = 10
case Medium = 50
case Fast = 100
}
let turtleSpeed = Speed(rawValue: 10)!

Courses Plus Student 23,421 PointsHi William, yo need to assign Speed.Slow.rawValue to a constant turtleSeed, not Speed(rawValue: 10)!
This is correct code
enum Speed: Int {
case Slow = 10
case Medium = 50
case Fast = 100
}
var turtleSpeed = Speed.Slow.rawValue
