28,558 PointsYour code is correct for the most part, but these challenges are very picky about text output, you have to write your code to output more or less exactly the text they ask of you. The problem with your string is that you have a comma after your name and a new line at the end which does not match the string the challenge asked you for. If you remove them like this:
// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console
String firstName = "steve";
// toWriteMyName
console.printf("%s can code in Java", firstName);
Then your code will pass.
