16,593 PointsYour code isn't technically wrong but what the challenge wants you to do is chain both jQuery methods together like this:
$submit.attr('disabled', true ).addClass('disabled');
This is a very common thing to see in jQuery code so my guess is that the challenge is trying to help familiarize you with this way of thinking.
