4,082 PointsI don't know how to create a paragraph element
All I could think of were the paragraph tags
var contentDiv = document.getElementById('content');
var newParagraph= <p></p>
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>DOM Manipulation</title>
</head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
<body>
<div id="content">
</div>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Treehouse Moderator 48,850 Pointsyou need to use the createElement method on the document object and pass it a string with the tag name you want to create....
document.createElement(elementType); // pass element type as string

14,244 PointsI would like to add, that you can find all the info you need in the MDN docs.
In this specific case you need to write the following code:
const newParagraph = document.createElement("p");
Later on you can refer to that specific paragraph element by the name of the variable you assigned it to, in this case: newParagraph.
