I don't get what it wants me to do.

i practicaly copied the example from the video earlier and it says that i have something wrong

strings.py 
name = "Steven"
subject = "Treehouse loves steven"
subject = "Treehouse loves {} "
print(subject.format(name))

And this is what it wants me to do. OK, so now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable subject again.

Hey Steven,

It looks like you just need to remove the whitespace at the end of your string, and assign your formatted string to the subject variable.

Also, clean up your code a bit and it will pass:

name = "Steven"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
