I dont get what I have to do

I don't get it

Hi Paul

Almost got it, we want to set that variable username to the id but with the id value to uppercase

We do this by selecting the id and then calling the function like so

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase();
