You're close, but there's a few issues here:

  • the test must come before the "return" or it will never be performed
  • the instructions say "less than 3 characters", but the "<=" operator is "less than or equal"
  • the test must be indented to be considered part of the function
  • the "understand" code at the bottom is not part of the challenge and should be omitted
