5,348 PointsI do not understand how to do this.
I do not understand the question. The question is : "Create a new variable name $isIdentical. Compare the variable $a as identical (equal AND of the same type) as the string "5" and assign the results to $isIdentical."
<?php
$a = 5;
//Place your code below this comment
$isBoolean = true;
$isIdentical = 5;
?>

$x = ($varToCompare [comparison operator] "5")
p.s. they said the string of 5, not number 5.

5,348 PointsHey, I stil don't know how to do it. I tried this: <?php $a = 5; //Place your code below this comment
$isBoolean = true;
$isIdentical = "5"; $isBoolean = var_dump($isIdentical === $isBoolean); echo $isBoolean; ?>
and the preview says that it is right but the correction said that it is false.

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 29,312 PointsHey There,
I would look up comparison operators: https://www.w3schools.com/php/php_operators.asp . From there assign the values you are comparing to the value of $isIdentical.
Cheers,
