I do not meet the requirement to continue with this course

Hi,

I wanted to learn how to make wordpress plugin. Half way throughout the course, there is a
note saying that this documentations is meant for people with php and java script knowledhe. I do not have those knowledge and How do I go about switching my online learning to basic php and java script programming
