I did exactly what i did in the previous lesson. I typed in: string firstName= "MyName"; ---- then = error

It's simply asking me to define a string variable and its not working

// I have setup a java.io.Console object for you named console

it should be capital S in String word

thank you for answering my very simple question. As a follow up question, do i have to be specific with the spacing also? like would there be a difference between

String firstName = "asdf";

and

String firstName="asdf";

you can do spacing but not all the time so you can say

String firstName                   =                       "asdf";

but for reading would be cool with 1 space
