I copied and pasted my index.html into the about.html file. When I load the website onto the browser

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title> vijay | designer</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">
    <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?    family=Changa+One|Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700,800' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html" id="logo">
        <h1> vijay chekuri</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html"  >Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html" class="selected">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">contact</a></li>
        </ul>
        </nav>
      </header>
    <div id="wrapper">
          <section>
            >
          </section>

    <footer>
      <a href="https://www.facebook.com/vijay.prince.7"> <img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="facebook" class="social-icon"></a>
       <a href="https://twitter.com/vijayprinceuk"> <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="twitter" class="social-icon"></a>
      <p>&copy; 2015 vijay chekuri.</p>
    </footer>
      </div>
  </body>
</html>

Hi Vijay,

I think your title was cutoff too early. What problem are you having?

Are you using workspaces?

Over on the left do you see both "index.html" and "about.html" in the same folder? Make sure the file names are all lower case letters.

"about.html" should be in the same folder as "index.html" and not in a subfolder.

Also, I noticed you have some extra spaces in your google fonts url after the question mark.

<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?    family=Changa+One|Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700,800' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

I would check both of your pages and get rid of those spaces. This is unrelated to your problem but should be fixed.
