I can't see what I'm missing...

What other way can I determine if the string is less than a certain number of characters?

suggestinator.py 
def suggest(product_idea):
    return product_idea + "inator"
if len(product_idea) < 3:
    raise ValueError("Too Short! ")

You just need to ensure that the return statement is the last line in your function. Right now your function isn't returning anything.

def suggest(product_idea):
    if len(product_idea) < 3:
        raise ValueError("Too Short! ")
    return product_idea + "inator"

Make sure as well you indent the part where you're raising the error by 4 spaces and then you should be good to go!.
