I've tried a couple of time in different browsers but is always seems that after I do task 2 task 1 doesn't pass so then I cant complete task 2. I'm actually wondering if this is a bug because when I click check work and type javascript into the prompt box, the alert box pops up just like its supposed to.
var answer = prompt("What is the best programming language?");
if (answer.toUpperCase() === "JAVASCRIPT"){
alert("You are correct");
};

31,603 PointsHey Steve,
actually your code is correct but in this case the challenge wants you to check if the String is "JavaScript", so with just the "J" and "S" in uppercase.
It should work like this:
var answer = prompt("What is the best programming language?");
if (answer === "JavaScript"){
alert("You are correct");
};
I hope that helps! :)
