I cant get it to work

Why isnt it working?

  alert("Time to go to the theater");    
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");    
} else if ( money > 10 || today === 'Friday' ) {

For the conditional statement, you need to use the AND operators &&. You are using the OR operators ||.

Switch all the || to &&.

Then change the last "else if" statement to:

else if (money<=10 && today==='Friday')

var money = "";

that could be problem, your variable is string in that case, but you're trying to check an integer, try

var money = 100; // example
