41,120 PointsI think the problem is that you have an else if statement for >10, and another else if statement for <10. What happens if money exactly equals 10?
To get the correct solution, you don't actually need to test for money in your final else if statement. If the program has made it that far, it's already known that money is less than or equal to 10.
Full solution:
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday';
if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today === 'Friday' ) {
alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}
Edit: After reading Jennifer's answer, I see that my explanation wasn't quite correct as I didn't notice that you had used or rather than and in your final else if statement. The solution is still the same as I've described in that the final else if statement doesn't require a test of variable 'money'.

Treehouse TeacherHe's correct, and my answer wasn't quite complete either. Great catches on both sides, I think!
