I can't find layers in Sketch 3 in layers panel?

Hi All,

I've been using Photoshop and Illustrator for years but have decided to give Sketch 3 a try and I am really liking it. I am having one problem, when I draw something like a rectangle it does not seem to show up in the layers panel anywhere. I have created a 'Symbol' which consists of a clipping mask, photograph, title text and an icon. When I add this Symbol all I can see in the layers panel is the text layer. I am really confused and it has slowed down my process. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Sonny

Sonny, I don't know what you mean but see here how I create a symbol and my layer are appearing on the left side in Sketch. They are not called layers, but they have the name of the object. See here a shot video capture. Where are the layers in sketch?
