I can't seem to understand what the code is asking me for. I tried different ways of defining the variables.

result = square * 3

19,363 PointsYou've created the function well, the only problem is that you passed in the arguments wrong.
- All you need to do is, instead of multiplying the function by 3, you call the function with 3 inside it, so the 3 is passed in as an argument.
def square(number):
return number * number
result = square(3)
print(result)
