10,018 PointsI can't figure out how to reference a how to reference all cells in column C that yields the value of 'other'.
I am trying to use the function MAX on all cells in column b (dollar values) that are in the same row where column C yields the value of 'other'. How do I write a formula for this?

46,160 PointsI checked this out for you, and I succeeded using the MAXIFS function. I won't flat out tell you the solution since here in the Treehouse Community, we try to help a little and let people figure it out themselves. Investigate the MAXIFS function with Google a little bit, and let me know how it goes ;) Much love

Treehouse TeacherLove it Balazs Pukli! Your response is what I really like to see our students give to eachother. It was a fast response time, helpful, but you didn't just give it away. You nudged Lee in the right direction. That helps so much with the learning process.
Lee Ravenberg, hopefully you're well on your way at this point, but just in case, here's some (documentation on the MAX function in Sheets.)[https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3094013?hl=en]
