Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsI think the problem is you're trying to echo out the variable values into your strings but the challenge doesn't want them. Remember there's only 2 possibilities.. A is either greater than B or it isn't.. and that's all you need in your string.
if(a>b) {
alert("a is greater than b");
} else {
alert("a is not greater than b");
}
Also remember the string has to match exactly.
