to setup wordpress on locally on windows machine we use ' XAMPP ' . To setup our local WordPress environment on a Mac, we use ' mamp ' . To setup our local database, we will use ' phpmyadmin ' .

THE PROBLEM STARTED WITH A PREVIOUS "WORDPRESS" COURS IN WHICH TAUGHT "MAMP" FOR PC. IN WHICH I DID IN FACT DOWNLOAD AND AM LEARNING FROM "LOCALHOSTING" ONLY.

BUT, THIS COURSE SAYS XAMPP! I HAVE ALREADY DOWLOAD AND INSTALLED MAMP. So, I feel lost.

WHAT SHOULD I DO? I am ready to go live -- and the courses now are showing xmapp NOT mamp usage.
