I cannot figure out what the question ask me to do

Create another table row with a cell that spans two columns.

Thats one way to do it.

Something like this. So you need to create a new table row "tr" then inside here add the "td" with a "colspan" attribute equal to 2

<table>
      <thead>
        <tr>
          <th>Sponge</th>
          <th>Bob</th>
        </tr>
      </thead>
      <tbody>
        <tr>
          <td>Square</td>
          <td>Pants</td>
        </tr>
        <tr>
            <td colspan="2"></td>
        </tr>
      </tbody>
    </table>
