I can not convert to Upper-case, I don't know what's happenig. I give up for this.

Hey Samuel Bueno, So one of the first issues I see is that you don't need the parentheses around your first and last name when you initiate those variables. A second issue that I see is that in your template literal you are missing a $ in front of the first name variable as well as back-ticks surrounding the whole statement. One last thing is that in your final statement you aren't using the template literal syntax either. You're on the right track, but try the following:

let firstName = 'Samuel';
let lastName = 'Bueno';
let role = 'developer';
let msg = `${firstName} ${lastName}: ${role.toUpperCase()}`;
