2,894 PointsI am stuck on this for each loop part please help!
I do not understand the part of the directions where they ask me to increment the counter if the tile matches!
public class ScrabblePlayer {
private String mHand;
public ScrabblePlayer() {
mHand = "";
}
public String getHand() {
return mHand;
}
public void addTile(char tile) {
// Adds the tile to the hand of the player
mHand += tile;
}
public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
return mHand.indexOf(tile) > -1;
}
public int getTileCount(char tile){
int count = 0;
for(char tile : mHand.toCharArray()){
count++;
}
return count;
}
}

56,414 PointsBecause you're using char tile
in the for loop, it will take precedence over the paramenter tile
and we don't want that to happen. You should give it a different name, then inside the for loop you check whether it is equal to tile
and increment count if it is.
