You have ul element already stored in myList. Now you can do:

let firstListItem = myList.querySelector('');

I left the selector blank. I'm sure you can figure it out.

You have an undesired ';' right after the second variable name that is ending the line and causing an "Unexpected token = ".

That's true. It works when you remove the extra semicolon.
