I am getting the right response, but the section is still saying it is incorrect.

Not sure if it is a bug or not. But here is my work: var money = 9; var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Thursday' ) { alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Monday' ) { alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money <= 0 || today === 'Monday' ) { alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today || 'Friday' ) { alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else { alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home."); }

I am getting the right alert saying: It's friday but i do not have enough to go out. Which is the alert it is looking for.

script.js
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Thursday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Monday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money <= 0 || today === 'Monday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today || 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( money < 10 && today == 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

You need to change the || to && for everything, and you have to change the last else if to

money < 10 && today == 'Friday'

Ok, I understand by changing everything to a && is saying something has to be true or it will false, which moves us to the next else if statement. I guess i miss understood that we could add more to the code.
