I added the <thead> in my opinion in the right place but i guess im mistaking

15,897 PointsYou have your 'thead' tags in the incorrect spot, they should be enclosing the column label cells.

Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsJust a couple of things here.
You need to move your Table header element up slightly so it covers the top most table cells.
Also the challenge needs a table body element to surround the rest of the table cells.
So something like this will work.

<th scope="col"> </th>
<th scope="col"> </th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td> </td>
<td> </td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
