you are missing yor parenthesis after the func declaration and you are missing the == in your if statement. you are also capitalizing the the "c" in initialScore

var initialScore = 8 initialScore += 1 func isWinner (){ if initialScore == 10 { "player won" } else { " Lost !" } }
