1,568 PointsHow to simulate Android OS to kill a process in newer versions of Android Studio
Android device monitor doesn't exist in newer versions of Android. How can I simulate when Android Studio kills a process to see what happens next? I want to test it to understand better how a service is restarted.
I found that in the logcat window I can kill a process by pressing the red square button with the device and process selected but I don't know if that is the same. I tried it but then nothing happened and it didn't seem to restart.
