how to select an element?

i need to select the input element and for some reason i didnt understand it.

Hi there itay zelig ! 👋

The Challenge is asking to store the value of the selected input element to the variable so there's an extra step involved than just selecting the element.

You can achieve it in one line by adding value to the end of the querySelector with dot notation. 👍
