Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 6,350 PointsHow to indent in Macbook pro? It doesn't work just pressing cmd + ] because (+) (*) (]) are in the same Item.
Hi, I have been trying to indent in Mac and been looking for possible solutions but haven't found one yet. The only way to do a "]" is pressing alt+]. Therefore, when I press cmd + ], the computer would take it as cmd+ "+", not as cmd +"]". I've tried too to press cmd + alt+ "]" but it does not work.
Thanks in advance for your time :)

15,445 PointsWhen you ask how to indent, are you referring to the spacing along the margin you use in your IDE? I feel like I've misunderstood but if it is that then wouldn't it just be tab?

After seeing that you have already tried cmd + Alt + ] and that didn't work, then I would propose that you use a different keyboard shortcut altogether. If you go to File --> Preferences --> Keyboard Shortcuts, you can go down to the "Indent Line" command and click the little pencil icon to the left of it and then define your own keyboard shortcut.
