How to increment the laps attribute?

Hi there,

I am not sure how to figure out the laps attribute. Not sure where I should set the value 0 in the init method or as an argument to the run_lap method. Can someone please help?

Omer

class RaceCar:
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        return fuel_remaining - (length * 0.125)
        laps = 0
        for lap in run_lap():
            laps += 1
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0

    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for attribute, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, attribute, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        self.fuel_remaining = self.fuel_remaining - length * 0.125
        self.laps = self.laps + 1
