How to do this lesson?

I'm a bit confused. Do I need to set up a Wordpress site to follow along with the class? Is there a Workspace I'm missing? Or do I just follow the videos and make notes?

I opened the zipped file but could see no theme to upload to wordpress.

Somewhat perplexed.

Duplicate question deleted. I know XAMPP (a local server) allows you to easily download Wordpress. I recommend following along because, at least for me, I learn better that way. I don't know the answer to your specific question though.
