969 PointsHi Coty,
Creating a border in CSS is very simple:
.main-pg {
border: 2px solid brown;
}
OR
.main-pg {
border-bottom/top/left/right
}
The "border" property
requires 3 values to be inputted to work properly.
- px value (border width)
- border style (solid, dotted, dashed, etc..)
- color (black, yellow, #441144, etc...)
Note that this in the code snippet I wrote about this is the shorthand for the border property.
It is also possible to input each property on a new line. The order in which you input the properties for the shorthand border propery don't matter. but I recommend (width(px) style color)
Hope I've helped
Happy Coding
Shay
