how do we change or complete a html tag? Can I get an example?

I'm sorry, but after reading your question several tines, it is not making sense. The <html> tag is complete in your example. It ends with </html>

As Andy stated, your question doesn't make any sense. Per the challenge referenced in your question, you're supposed to:

  1. Change the HTML paragraph tag to an h1 tag (e.g. <p> vs. <h1>)
  2. Change the color of the h1 tag to purple; switch to the styles.css tab

I suggest rewatching any videos if this is still unclear.
