348 PointsHow to Change to Current Theme to a ThemeForest one?
I've just spent money working with a WP developer for my current website which I had purchased a theme from Creative Market for. He stated when he finished the site that he was unable to find certain icons listed within the previous theme pack but the site was live. I paid him and enquired about the icons from Creative Market and found out that the user and theme were removed as they weren't original content and taken from Theme Forest. Now, I'm purchasing a new theme from Theme Forest (totally different) and I'm wanting to install this theme - but I don't know how to set up a test site or how to even go about doing this. Is there a tutorial about this? I assume its not as easy as just switching themes myself without any knowledge? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

348 PointsThank you. Another silly question - in the folder one is titled "Demo" the other is titled the name of the WP Theme. Which do I upload? The demo or the Theme name? Thanks again - that video is very helpful (I'm going to try to do it myself soon - once I understand which file to use - fingers crossed lol)
