How to change the color of the h1 tag to purple? i cant figure it out

I cant figure out how to change the color and therefore how to continue on.

Did you wrote any CSS did you try? Tell me what comes in your mind when you want to change it.

You need to select the element in the CSS, once selected, you can give it a property, and the value. Try it.
