how to Add an else if clause that tests to see if the isStudent variable is true?

if so, open alert dialogue with "Welcome student"

Hey,

you were on the right track. You just have to add "else" in front of your if so you'll have an else if clause. Also you don't need an else clause for this challenge. And don't forget to put the output in the alert in quotes, then it should work, good luck! :)

Edit: Oops, I didn't see your comment at first, you already noticed the quotation error, so it's alright then!
