How do you use the "Prt sc" command for a PC to save a picture to your desktop?

I see where he captures a screenshot and it is automatically on his desktop. On my PC it just stores it to a clipboard. I know I can use the snipping tool and it'll take a few more steps to save a screenshot to my desktop but is there any fancy key combination on the PC like it is on a Mac?

Thanks

Hey Ira Salem,

The easiest way to save a screenshot of your screen on Windows is to press the "Print Scrn" button and then open up "Paint". Then, just press Ctrl + V to paste or in Windows 7, use the Paste icon on the ribbon on the far left of the Home tab.

Your print screen button will have letters similar to that. If you're using a laptop, print screen might be on the same button as another command, and so you might have to use the Fn (function) key to activate it.

Thanks Marcus.

Anytime, Ira!
