C# C# Basics (Retired) Console I/O Formatting Output

How do you Use Console.WriteLine to print the contents of the firstName variable to the screen

The way i did this was: string firstName = Console.WriteLine();

Please advise

You are required to read the existing first name and print it. You are currently writing a new string called "firstName. Instead you want to pass the variable you just created called firstName, this would be without quotes.

You don't need to reassign the variable type and name both times. The third part of this lab is included here as well.

string firstName = System.Console.ReadLine();
Console.WriteLine(firstName + " rocks!");
