how do you take the number from a variable?

i understand you use the function ParsInt(); but how?

parseInt(variable);

Let me know how it goes! :-)

Edit: Remember not to capitalize the "p" in "parseInt". The "I" is still capitalized, though.

Shift+Ctrl+i, click the browser's console tab and pass this code one line at time

//As..
var numOfDivs = 10;
parseInt("190px", numOfDivs);
//... is the same as:
parseInt("190px", 10);
